Creative Wedding Photographer in Slovenia

The idea for the photo is born in the head. But the photo takes away the breath when the composition is strong, the right moment is caught, the depth of the field is unique, the efficient lighting is used. The professional wedding photographer knows what to watch, where to look for the motives. His approach is unique and reveals a personal visual style, something that is very important for a photographer who wants to go one step further and to stand out.

I remember the time when I was a child, very interested in the world around me. One day I found something really interesting in my grandparents' cupboard. There was a box full of cameras, different qualities, and ages. The shiniest was the one that attracted my attention most. It was Voigtlander, the SLR camera. Like a real spy, I started to take photos around me hiding behind wardrobes and beds.

Over thirty years have passed since that time and photography has become my way of life and expression.

When I finished Secondary School for Design and Photography in Ljubljana, Slovenia, I decided to continue studies of photography at The Higher Vocational College in Sežana. During my studies there I participated in the Festivals of Documentary Photography in Novo mesto several times and my mentors there were internationally well-known photographers who taught me a lot.

I graduated from Wedding Photography in 2011 and at graduation, I was awarded the title of ‘Photography Engineer’.

Since that time I work as a professional photographer. I have worked for musicians, magazines, The Museum and galleries Ljubljana, The Medical Chamber Of Slovenia, The Municipality of Domžale, Krka d.d., 2TDK...

My work was exhibited on my solo and group exhibitions and was awarded several times. I also participated as an expert jury in photo competitions and upgraded my knowledge of lightning in the Lighting department working on international projects (Pandora, Nissan, LG, Dacia, Telekom, Dr. Oetker, etc.). I professionally work as a wedding photographer for 15 years and in these years I have photographed more than 300 weddings.
